1. PROCESSED MEAT
This is for all hot dog lovers… Bad news! This “meat” has high levels of
sodium. They also have nitrates and nitrites which enhance: color,
taste and shelf life. But beware! Nitrates & nitrites have been
linked to certain cancers.
2. SODA
Step away from the vending machine… 1 soda can contain about 10 packs of
sugar! Consuming too much sugar puts you at a greater risk of diabetes
and certain cancers.
3. MARGARINE
Surprise! Margarine is not healthier than butter. It is loaded with
artery-clogging trans fats and salt. Trans fats = rise of blood
cholesterol and risk of heart disease. Watch out for margarine in:
pastries, crackers, microwave popcorn.
