Female Suicide Bomber Strikes in Gombe State, 2 Feared Dead

 

 

 

A suicide bomb attack was today reported along Military Quarter Guard along Biu Road in Gombe State, with a soldier and the suicide bomber said to be a woman feared dead. However, an eyewitness says in the tweet above that the dead were 3.

"The explosion occurred at about 11am along Military Quarter Guard along Biu Road in Gombe,” a source told TheCable. “The woman had the explosive in her bag, but the thing went off prematurely. She was scattered by the explosion. Unluckily, she got a soldier as well.”

The source further said that although the woman hadn’t arrived her destination when the bomb went
off, chances were high that the military quarters was her target.
