Kanye West squashes rumors that he's the next Mandela

Kanye West is going off on Twitter again, but this time it’s to refute false statements that the rapper deemed himself “the next Mandela.”
It all started on Friday, when The Daily Currant ran a fake interview stating that the “Blood on the Leaves” emcee declared himself “the next Mandela” after the passing of the former South African president last week. The Currant, however, categorizes itself as “The Global Satirical Newspaper of Record,” sorta like the onion.                                                                                                                                                     The mock interview included quotes such as:                                                                                           “Mandela was working in South Africa, which has, like what, six people? I started my magic here in the USA and then I took my business global. I liberate minds with my music. That’s more important than liberating a few people from apartheid or whatever.”                                                                                     But the 34 years old rapper definitly does not play those games and has decided to put the rumors  to rest.
